Jaiku is a late starter. It would be driven a lot faster, bigger and better if there was tighter integration into the rest of Google's product and service set, such as Google Maps, Picassa, Android etc.
Jaiku's mobile S60 offering is hideous and counter-intuitive: they need to hit the mobile nail on the head and offer the user-base a slick mobile experience that matches the brand represented in the browser.
Where it all comes together is geo-tagging via geolocation. Even if a mobile device doesn't have GPS, A-GPS is good enough for the purpose. Can you see how it all can tie together?
